{"id":10411,"date":"2024-04-16T15:20:25","date_gmt":"2024-04-16T13:20:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tecnopress.it\/?post_type=news&#038;p=10411"},"modified":"2024-04-16T15:20:25","modified_gmt":"2024-04-16T13:20:25","slug":"machining-cell-and-helium-leakage-testing-device","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.tecnopress.it\/en\/news\/machining-cell-and-helium-leakage-testing-device\/","title":{"rendered":"Advanced Machining Cell and Helium Leakage Testing Device: a Project Made in Tecnopress"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Incoming Request<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the rapidly evolving electric vehicle industry research and development of innovative components are essential to meet the growing demands for <strong>efficiency<\/strong> and <strong>safety<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A noteworthy case study of ours is the implementation of an <strong>air suspension for electric vehicles<\/strong>, which is characterized by significant <strong>machining<\/strong> and a high <strong>tightness requirement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The incoming challenging requirements of the project included the <strong>complexity of assembly interfaces<\/strong>, the need <strong>\u00a0for automated direct assembly line supply<\/strong> for a new EV OEM in the U.S. and <strong>high delivery volumes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thanks to a <strong>holistic approach <\/strong>to the product and process in cooperation with our customer we were able to successfully overcome these challenges.<\/p>\n<p>One of the key elements was the adoption of an <strong>integrated design of the machining cell<\/strong>, which included <strong>optical<\/strong> and <strong>functional controls<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This allowed accurate and real-time monitoring of the production phases, ensuring <strong>maximum precision<\/strong> and <strong>compliance of the machined casting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition we have built a <strong>new helium leakage testing system<\/strong>, exploiting the unique properties of this inert gas to ensure <strong>a 100% tightness <\/strong>of the product.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the <strong>traceability of process data through DMC codes<\/strong>, the complete traceability of the component has been ensured, securing the highest quality and safety.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits to our Customer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The success of this project was confirmed by the conclusion of the final tests of the customer&#8217;s assy part: our product, the &#8220;heart&#8221; component, came out to be fully <strong>suitable for the final assembly and function<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, through a holistic approach, the adoption of innovative technologies and rigorous attention to details we have been able <strong>to ensure the delivery of high volumes of a complex product<\/strong>, thus contributing to the customer\u2019s growth and competitiveness in the EV sector.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":10413,"menu_order":0,"template":"single-news.php","format":"standard","meta":[],"categorie_news":[330],"class_list":["post-10411","news","type-news","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","categorie_news-case-history"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Advanced Machining Cell and Helium Leakage Testing Device | Tecnopress Spa<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Project development of an air suspension for electric vehicles.
